Here is an ambitious project for the most experienced knitters. Pullover made of pure wool yarn is made with stockinette stitch. The round yoke, hem and sleeves are decorated with traditional jacquard motifs of rhombuses and other elements.
Dimensions: 44-46 (50-52)
Product width according to chest circumference: 100 (112) cm
Product length: 68 cm
Sleeve length along the inner seam: 50 cm
You will need:
Rico Essentials Soft Merino aran yarn (100% wool: 50 g/100 m) – 8 (9) skeins of gray melange (color 093),
3 skeins of light gray (color 020),
2 skeins of black (color 090),
2 skeins of white (color 060);
knitting needles No. 4.5 and 5, circular knitting needles No. 4.5 40 cm long and No. 5 60 and 80 cm long,
4 long loop holders.
Knitting density: stockinette stitch (knitting needles No. 5) – 19 sts x 24 r. = 10 x 10 cm.
Rubber circle. in rows and rows in forward and reverse directions: knit alternately k1, p1.
Facial surface in rows in forward and reverse directions: front rows - knit stitches, purl rows - purl loops.
The stockinette stitch is circle. in rows: front and back rows of facial loops.
Norwegian pattern circle. in rows and rows in forward and reverse directions: knit
according to counting patterns A. B, C, D and E with stockinette stitch.
All rows are shown in the diagrams.
Counting scheme A in rows in forward and reverse directions (for 6 sts): repeat rapport of 6 sts. Read front rows from right to left, purl rows - from left to right. Knit 1 time 1-14th r.
Counting scheme B circle. in rows (for 9 p.): repeat rapport from 9 p. Knit 1 time 28th p.
Counting scheme C circle. in rows (for 6 p.): repeat rapport from 6 p. Knit 1 time 1-18th r.
Counting scheme D round in rows (for 8 sts): repeat rapport from 8 sts. Knit 1 time 1-9th r.
Counting scheme E circle. in rows (for 6 p.): repeat rapport of 6 p. Knit 1 time 1-10th r.
Sequence of patterns:
28 rub. knit according to pattern B, 18 r. – according to scheme C, 9 rubles. – according to scheme D, 10 rubles. – according to scheme E = 65 rub. (= approx. 27 cm).
If only one number is given, it is valid for all sizes.
Back: On knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 98 (110) sts with gray melange thread and knit with an elastic band of 4 cm.
Switch to needles No. 5 and knit in stockinette stitch 4 rows. then pattern A. After 14
p. Continue knitting with gray melange thread.
After 41 cm from the cast-on row in the last row (= purl row), evenly add 1 (2) sts = 99 (112) sts. Then transfer all stitches to the holder
Before: knit like a back.
Sleeves: On knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 56 stitches with gray melange thread and knit with an elastic band of 4 cm.
Switch to needles No. 5 and knit in stockinette stitch 4 rows. then knit with pattern A.
After 14 r. Continue working with gray melange thread.
After 15 cm from the cast-on row on both sides for sleeve bevels, add 1 x 1 st. Then in every 6th row. 8 x 1 p. = 74 p.
After 50 cm from the cast-on row, transfer all the loops to the holder. Knit the 2nd sleeve in the same way.
Round yoke: transfer all parts in the following order to long circular knitting needles No. 5, later, if necessary, switch to short circular knitting needles: 74 sts of the left sleeve, 99 (112) sts of the front, 74 sts of the right sleeve, 99 (112) sts of the back.
Close the loops into a ring and knit 1 row on all loops. gray melange thread in stockinette stitch, while at the places where the parts join, knit 4 (3) × 2 edges, together = 342 (369) p. Knit 2 r. gray melange thread, then the first 23 p. pattern B, repeat 38 (41) x repeat from 9 p. In the 24th r. in each group of 6 p. with white yarn, knit 38 (41) x middle 2 p. knit together = 304 (328) p.
Continue knitting with pattern B until the 28th row, while in 28 rows, evenly distributed, knit 4 x 2 stitches together with knit stitch = 300 (324) stitches.
Next, knit with pattern C and repeat 50 (54) 6 stitches of rapport. At 6 p.m. Knit the 2nd and 3rd sts of the group of light gray stitches together = 250 (270) sts. In the 17th r. alternately knit together every 2nd and 3rd p. and every 3rd and 4th p. = 179 (193) p. In the 18th row, evenly distributed, knit 3 x 2 p. together. (1 x 2 p.) = 176 (192) p.
Next, knit with pattern D and repeat 22 (24) x 8 repeat stitches. In the 9th row, evenly distributed, knit together 14 x 2 stitches (24 x 2 stitches) = 162 (168) stitches.
Then knit with pattern E from 1st to 10th r. without decreases, repeat 27 (28) x 6 rapport stitches
Knit 2 more rows. white thread, while in the 1st r. knit every 2nd and 3rd stitch together = 108 (112) stitches.
For the neckline, knit on circular needles with a gray melange thread with a 5 cm elastic band. Then loosely bind off all the loops, knitting them according to the pattern.
Assembly: Pin the pullover onto the pattern, moisten it and let it dry.
Sew side seams and sleeve seams. Thread all the threads.
